Best Western Strand Hotel

A hotel filled with nostalgia and individuallity. I had the fortune to get a room with a little roof terrasse. I could sit out there and watch the sun set over the ocean, right behind the first tower of Ringmuren. My room had a scent that reminds me of my grandmother and I could just imagine her staying in a room like that way back when. The staff was very welcoming and helpfull and even if my wheelchair scooter did not fit inside the elevator, they arranged so I could park and charge it in the lobby wardrobe. For a regular wheelchair, there would have been plenty of space is both elevator and the room I stayed in. Mine is just a bit too big. The breakfast buffet was excellent and I had a chance to try a Slider at the rooftop bar as well as a serving of Tapas from the same kitchen and both meals were a real treat. I hope to come back soon!

Ideal location, lovely and cozy public spaces, delicious breakfast, friendly and healthy staff. Excellent value for money because our "economy room," though simple, was very spacious.

The breakfast was fantastic. As is expected, the location is unmatched and the hotel fits in nicely. Takbaren (the rooftop bar) was a favorite for us to have a cocktail before dinner each evening. Will definitely stay again.

The hotel is a high standard hotel with classy rooms and a classical open buffett, rich breakfast and is very close, only a block to the beautiful coastal line and also a 10 minute walk to the historical center of the city. It is a beautiful spacious hotel.

The overall impression was good: good hotel, nice roof terrace and food there (fantastic). Separate plus is location (in the center of the old town) and nice staff. The room had 1 big bed and 1 one small (adjustable) bed. The last one was not super comfortable, but good enough. Clean bathroom. Breakfast was also good overall.
